What do you like most about working for PHS?
The friendly and supportive team environment. Everyone is always happy to help when you need it.
So far what has been your favourite project at PHS and why?
The Kangaroo Island Cable Hydrographic and Topographic survey, because of the beautiful location, weather and varied work scope.
What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most?
The variety of the work. As a Hydrographic Surveyor with PHS you are involved in every stage of the project from equipment testing/mobilisation, to field work, processing, charting, and reporting. Since commencing with PHS, every project has been very different and with each project I am learning something new.
Do you have a favourite quote?
Whether you think you can or think you can’t, you’re right.
Favourite travel spot and why?
My two favourite cities have definitely been Prague and Paris, because of all the amazing architecture, art, museums and history.
If you had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Fresh fruit smoothie or Mexican bean chilli on Kumara fries and salad.
Motto or personal mantra?
I’m a big believer in positive thinking and that if you put your mind to it you can accomplish anything.
What is your hidden talent?
I am an artist that loves to paint in watercolour.
What places have you lived in?
New Zealand, Australia, and UAE.
You’re happiest when?
I am travelling, painting, hiking, or hanging out with friends or family.
